Meditation

A lot of people get intimidated by the word meditation.  They think that it is something that needs a lot of concentration, hard work, and just not possible to do at all in this time and age.

But wait a minute, is that reaction because of how people define meditation?

Wikipedia had it defined as : Meditation is a practice in which an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or as an end in itself.

"Whoa, that sounds too rocket scient for me!  Understanding that alone is a challenge!" you might say.

What if I tell you that simply put, meditation is putting yourself in the moment, or anything that brings you to the present moment.

It is that process of making you aware and highly awake in your mind, engages you, and makes you focus in the present moment.

I will not give a ton of lecture on this subject; that is not my goal.  My goal is to let you know that meditation is something that you do naturally, but maybe unconsciously, and if you do it consciously, you make miracles and magic happen in your life.

I will share with you some forms of mediation that you can start doing right away to a better you and a better life for you.  Ready, set, go!

  1. 2 minute meditation - Take deep, slow breaths for two minutes, focusing on your breathing, closing your eyes.  Inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.  As you inhale, imagine all the good, great, magnificent energy and blessing is filling your entire body and soul, and as you exhale, you are releasing everything that does not server your purpose, your highest good, and returning them back to earth/heaven and be recycled into great things.  This meditation is a form of release and relaxation and clearing of what needs to be cleared and allowing yourself (mind, body, and spirit) to move peaceful, calm energy within you
  2. Walking meditation - go outside and just walk. Walk until you feel better than where you were before.  Walking grounds you and connects you to the energy of Mother Earth which is such an awesome source of pure loving beautiful energy.  On top of that, walking moves the energy within you and dissipates negative energy naturally.
  3. Zap Meditation - I love this meditation.  This is a meditation where I just stop what I am doing and think of my desires, either eyes closed or defocused vision, and just dream away my wishes to the point of feeling tingling, and goose bumps, and ending it with a feeling of expectation, gratitude, and belief that it is SO, it is given.  This takes about a minute or two, or less, and I do this anytime, anywhere, and whenever I want to, without anyone knowing about it.  I do this a lot at a stop light.  This meditation, when done with intense desire and emotions, brings about manifestations in my life.
There you have it --- try these simple meditation techniques and witness the great shift in your life.
