Raising Your Vibration

I woke up this morning with a low vibration feeling and was struggling to feel "happy".

I tried all sorts of things, like repeating affirmation in my head, or praying, or calling to my guardian angel.  Nothing was "really working".  Until I tried this:  I just repeated the words "I am so blessed, I am so blessed, I am so blessed, thank you, thank you, thank you."  I kept doing it and slowly my vibration changed.  By the time I got to work I was already happy.

I then got into another situation at work where I did not do any prepaving for that encounter and was crushed after that.  I felt a level of anxiety that I have never felt before.  I decided to go home, tried to calm myself, meditate, but nothing worked.  Then I tried this:  I decided to pick up my son from school and spent time with him; did goofy things with him, busied myself with cooking dinner, and played with him.  I did not allow myself to be alone with all of the low vibration feelings and thoughts.  I also called upon my angels and joy guides.

I am much much better now and feeling "normal" again.

Today was such a good reminder of how I should be steadfast in praying, prepaving each moment, being focused on the now, being grateful, and asking assistance from higher powers to live a day of my life in a magnificent way.

Inspiring versus Commanding

When you speak your truth or tell your stories, do you know if you are inspiring someone or you are intimidating someone because you are sounding more like you are commanding?

I was brought up in a very religious family and whenever I swayed from the teachings of the religion, my father would lecture me about it.  Being a young girl and still finding my own truth, I would obey blindly and set aside doubts and questions.

As I grew,  and part of that growth was independence from my parents, I experienced a lot of spiritiual, emotional, and mental growth, and slowly started realizing my own truth and forming my life around these self-found truths.   Whenever I succeeded, I would understand why and take full responsibility for it.  In the same manner, every mistake and failure along the way established my truths in a much stronger sense.

Recently I was on the phone with my father and candidly, I shared with him my recent spiritual growths and self truths, including self stories of my life.  I did not realize that my way of life now is a little diverse from the life that he has shown me...and we got into that familiar zone where he started telling me to do this and that.

At that moment, instead of feeling inspired, I felt attacked and judged.  I told him that I understand and respect his point of view but I just want to make sure I understand that he respects my truth even if it is far from his.

That's when I started recalling the many conversations I had with my friends, complete strangers, on topics about spiritual growth and beliefs and made me really ponder if I was more inspiring ... than commanding.

My message here is to share this pondering with you.

As we speak our truth, it would be so nice if we are inspiring at the same time; it would be so loving if the energy we are sending as we share our life stories motivate and lovingly reminds and kindly assists.

With Love,

Perception

It is all in your head.  The situation you are in is not the one causing you to feel whatever you are feeling.  It is your perception of the situation that is causing your feelings.  If you acknowledge this it would help you take action in changing your perception, changing your thoughts, and then eventually changing how you feel.  Remember, you are a magnet.  Your feelings are the frequency you are sending out to the universe and attracting similar frequency to you.  So always always be mindful of your thoughts, your feelings because by doing so, you will attract only the things/people/events that you want.

Happiness is always there.  It is just waiting for you to perceive it.

Experiencing Life

We are all spiritual beings and life here on earth is experiential in nature.
No matter what happens to you, remember that you are spirit and the physical body is a manifestation of the state of your spirit.  What is withIN manifest withOUT.

When you get sick, there is an imbalance in your mental and spiritual state so strong that it had gone to the point of manifesting physically.

In the same manner, when you are balanced and happy and feeling great, the physical manifestation becomes the next most natural thing to happen.  You look radiant and beautiful and everything around you seems to work out.

So when you want something to happen, EXPECT it, just start living your life like you already have it, and if you have achieved that state, the next thing to happen is the manifestation of it.

Jump and joy in manifesting your dreams,
AnniePMaki

Before You Fall Asleep

Make every effort to balance your spirit and mind before you retire for the night.

Going to bed happy will prepave a happy blessed tomorrow.

This can easily be done by just going through all of the things that made you happy during the day.  Relive each moment.  And if there nothing that stands out, relive a moment in your life where you were utterly happy and grateful.  Memories are a great way to create a powerful now and attracting more of that into your life.

Happy Nite nite,
AnniePMaki

Powerful Phrases

I would like to share wtih you phrases that are so powerful in my day to day, moment to moment existence.
I say them in my mind and in my heart whenever I need guidance, empowerment, inspiration, uplifting, and hope.

I put my hands together in a prayer position, close to my heart, and say:

Just for today, I let go of fear.
Just for today, I let go of anger.
Just for today, I will be grateful for all my blessings.
Just for today, I will be kind to everything and everyone.
Day by day, in every way, I am getting better, better, and better.

These powerful phrases are from the Reiki pillars and from the French Psychologist Émile Coué de la Châtaigneraie's teachings.

Allow It

One method I use to feel the affirmations that I say and make it natural for me to resonate with what I am saying or thinking, especially if there is a gap betwen what I am trying to affirm and where I am currently in my life, is to start the affirmation with "I allow".

Sometimes when you say "I am" or "I have" but from you are at that point, you still don't have "it" that you are asking for, it does not feel right or genuine, and we know, when we are saying and doing affirmations, it must come from the heart and it must feel like you are experiencing it already, that is is already given, and you are  in great expectations of it.

With "I Allow", I find that the gap is diminished, if not, totally vanished.

I allow love into my life, the kind of love that is calm, honest, amazing, and pure.
I allow abundance into every aspect of my life.
I allow my dream house into my life
I allow my dream job into my life
I allow genuine friends in  my life
I allow perfect health in my life
I allow my life purpose to show in my daily doings, thoughts, and feelings

and when it starts to feel real, you can take advantage of that feeling and start saying "I am" or "I have".

I am joy in every way
I am healthy in every way
I am abundant in every way
I am a money magnet in every way
I am living my life's purpose
I am intuitive

Happy Allowing to all of you,
AnniePMaki

Unpleasant Things

Today I had a couple of things that were not really pleasant for me.  Because of the many years of programmed reaction to unpleasant things, it took me a while to pull myself out of it and into a much better state of mind and emotions.

There is something I have been wanting to do that my beloved husband is not on board with of doing.  I love him so much and this "dream" of mine has caused several discussions, exchange of words, sad feelings, misunderstandings between us.

Tonight I really thought about it, and while meditating (I did not have to seclude myself for 20 minutes, I just walked around the house doing chores, dishes, cleaning up, which moved a lot of the unpleasant energies, while pondering on what is happening), here's what my heart told me:
My dream is happening and it will happen in an easy, happy, most loving way.
What is happening now is the opposite of that, so I re-realized that this thing that happened recently which I thought is one step closer to my dream, is not the path that would serve me well, because it if it is THE path, it would be easy, happy, and full of synchronicities.

I am not giving up, but I am doing is listening to my intuition on whether I am taking the least resistant path to where I want to be or not.  When a choice I made is not easy, that means, I have to readjust it, until I find a path or choice that is easy and will lead me right into my pot of gold.

Blessing all of you with love, peace, happiness, and prosperity.

Meditation

A lot of people get intimidated by the word meditation.  They think that it is something that needs a lot of concentration, hard work, and just not possible to do at all in this time and age.

But wait a minute, is that reaction because of how people define meditation?

Wikipedia had it defined as : Meditation is a practice in which an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or as an end in itself.

"Whoa, that sounds too rocket scient for me!  Understanding that alone is a challenge!" you might say.

What if I tell you that simply put, meditation is putting yourself in the moment, or anything that brings you to the present moment.

It is that process of making you aware and highly awake in your mind, engages you, and makes you focus in the present moment.

I will not give a ton of lecture on this subject; that is not my goal.  My goal is to let you know that meditation is something that you do naturally, but maybe unconsciously, and if you do it consciously, you make miracles and magic happen in your life.

I will share with you some forms of mediation that you can start doing right away to a better you and a better life for you.  Ready, set, go!

  1. 2 minute meditation - Take deep, slow breaths for two minutes, focusing on your breathing, closing your eyes.  Inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.  As you inhale, imagine all the good, great, magnificent energy and blessing is filling your entire body and soul, and as you exhale, you are releasing everything that does not server your purpose, your highest good, and returning them back to earth/heaven and be recycled into great things.  This meditation is a form of release and relaxation and clearing of what needs to be cleared and allowing yourself (mind, body, and spirit) to move peaceful, calm energy within you
  2. Walking meditation - go outside and just walk. Walk until you feel better than where you were before.  Walking grounds you and connects you to the energy of Mother Earth which is such an awesome source of pure loving beautiful energy.  On top of that, walking moves the energy within you and dissipates negative energy naturally.
  3. Zap Meditation - I love this meditation.  This is a meditation where I just stop what I am doing and think of my desires, either eyes closed or defocused vision, and just dream away my wishes to the point of feeling tingling, and goose bumps, and ending it with a feeling of expectation, gratitude, and belief that it is SO, it is given.  This takes about a minute or two, or less, and I do this anytime, anywhere, and whenever I want to, without anyone knowing about it.  I do this a lot at a stop light.  This meditation, when done with intense desire and emotions, brings about manifestations in my life.
There you have it --- try these simple meditation techniques and witness the great shift in your life.

With loving thoughts,
AnniePMaki

Candle

You may think this is crazy, but the next tool or secret that I am going to share with you works very very well for me.

I use candles to manifest things for me, and here are some examples:

  1. When I am blogging or working or needing creativity to flow naturally and easily, I set my intentions to deliver the best I can be, light a candle, and do what I need to do.  It works so well I am tempted to light a candle at work when I am working on projects that need high concentration and require tight deadlines.
  2. When I am praying and meditating, I light a candle --- the flame assists in raising my frequency  to higher vibration, as if it speeds up the connection to the Divine realm and powers.
  3. When I just need a quick pick me upper, or I just wish something nice to happen, I light a candle, and voila, something nice happens in my day
Happy candle lighting,
AnniePMaki

Milking The Feeling

One method that I find very effective for me is using the happy, giddy, amazing moments in my life as attraction points.

When I am feeling very very happy, I offer gratitude and appreciation as I relish the moment, and then I milk it as long as I can, and while in that frequency, I ask for more like that, and imagine my desires and wants.  Your desires manifest faster when you are in the height of your emotions, and happy is one of them.  I must say things manifests too out of anger or despair.

So the next time you hit a high feeling, leverage it to attract your dreams to you.

Happy Manifesting,
AnniePMaki

On Health

When someone says "health", what comes to mind?  I bet that a lot of people only think of health in terms of the physical body.  The truth is, health is not just physical.  You are not just physical.  You are composed of mind, body, and spirit.  Therefore, health is not only physical, but mental, and spiritual as well.

Your physical self is a reflection of your inner self.  When you feel good inside, you are radiant and undeniably looking great outside.  The beauty is not just physical anymore.  There is this radiating energy from you that attracts people toward you.

When you eat healthy, it is very easy to be mentally focused, and when your mental state is stable, it is very easy to be spiritually balanced.  It can also go the other way around.  Spiritually clear inside, you feel inner peace and calm, which allows you to achieve a balanced mental state, and you end up eating just right.

In other words, To be healthy means to be healthy in mind, body, and spirit.

Exercising allows you to move your energy all over your body and get you rooted and grounded with mother earth.  It also allows you to shift and dust off any low vibration energy that you may have inside.  Do you remember the times when you are so angry or so upset, that you say, "I'm going to take a walk", or "I'm going outside, I need air"...and you find yourself pacing, and walking, and then later feel a lot better than ever.  Physical activity dissipates negative charges, makes you take and release breaths, which then puts you in a better mood.

Mental health is a lot more connected to our feelings and emotions.  You may have noticed how your thoughts greatly affect how you feel and how you feel impact your words and actions.  When you are thinking of something pleasant, you feel good, and in the opposite case, when you are thinking of negative things (e.g. focusing on a person you dislike, criticizing a situation or a person), it does not really feel very good.  Over time, whatever you keep thinking of, and focusing on, eventually shows in your behavior and the words that come out of your mouth.  Later on, it becomes part of your belief system and eventually becomes part of your character.

Taking care of your mental health requires a mind shift; a conscious shift of thinking towards positive, affirmative, kind, loving, compassionate thoughts.  One step you can make is start becoming conscious of your thoughts and really catching yourself when your thoughts are making you feel negative.  Later I will expound on this, but for now, this is one step you can make towards maintaining a healthy mind.  Consciously check your thoughts, and anything that is negative, try to do your best to shift your mind to love and compassion and see how it changes your self and your life for the better.

Spirituality is very much related to your belief in higher wisdom and power and your connection to that.  A lot of people do not spend the time to pursue spirituality --- a lot of people are religious but not really spiritual.  I  am going to quote some lines from this site to expound on this a little more:
  • Religion is an institution established by man for various reasons. Exert control, instill morality, stroke egos, or whatever it does. Organized, structured religions all but remove god from the equation. You confess your sins to a clergy member, go to elaborate churches to worship, told what to pray and when to pray it. All those factors remove you from god.
  • Spirituality is born in a person and develops in the person. It may be kick started by a religion, or it may be kick started by a revelation. Spirituality extends to all facets of a person’s life. Spirituality is chosen while religion is often times forced. Being spiritual to me is more important and better than being religious.
  •  True spirituality is something that is found deep within oneself. It is your way of loving, accepting and relating to the world and people around you. It cannot be found in a church or by believing in a certain way.
Being spiritual can never be forced upon you;  when it is the right time, you will seek and pursue it, voluntarily, from your heart.  Inner guidance (intuition/vibe) has a lot to do with Spirituality and one easy way to feel it and find it is to QUIET your heart and mind.  This is why meditation is very crucial and important to spiritual people.  For it is only in quieting our minds that are we able to connect to our Inner Self/Inner Wisdom/Source.

I hope that from this day on, you will see HEALTH in a new light.

With love and light,
AnniePMaki

Great Expectations

Have you heard the phrase "We are what we think."
To be more precise:
"We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world." - Buddha
I will advise that you really ponder on this and begin to look back at your life and recall how your thoughts drove your emotions, and your emotions in turn, propelled you to deliberately intend, and fuel you to action.  All your actions result to words and behaviors that make up who you are today, your circumstances in life, and the quality of life that you have.

If you have heard of the Law of Attraction, which in simple words -- like attracts like --- I advise that you be constantly cognizant of this law and take advantage of it.

Every moment, make a deliberate choice to expect only GREAT things to happen to you.  Practice until you sincerly feel it, and you dont expect anything less than great.  By Law of Attraction, with enough focus, fueled by desire and intent, you MUST attract it to your experience.

With Love and Peace,
AnniePMaki

Relax

Another simple truth about life that you MUST start practicing if you are serious about changing your life for the better is as follows:

RELAX.

or for some people,

CHILLAX.

This is a simple word but a very powerful one especially when you are feeling that life is against you, or things are not going according to your plans, or someone is just bugging the heck out of you.

If you start practicing to relax during such circumstances in your life, and begin to switch your thought pattern to relax --- you will experience  a sudden shift in your life, a shift that is positive and empowering.

Oprah said:
"Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure."
"Doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment."
When you let go, you simply go with the flow of life.  And the flow of life always leads you to the place that is best for you.  I will be talking more about this in succeeding posts, and I am confident that you will understand it and will be much more willing to adapt to it.

For now, my advice to you is to practice to chill and relax and know that in every thing that seems to be tumultuous or challenging, ALL IS WELL.

With love,
AnniePMaki

"Everyday, in Every Way, I am getting Better and Better."

I would like to share with you a very powerful, yet simple phrase that you can use as an affirmation any time and anywhere to change your life for the best almost immediately.

"Everyday, in Every Way, I am getting Better and Better."

If you have never heard this before, you should google Émile Coué to find and learn all the amazing stories that are attached to this mantra.  He was a psychologist and pharmacist who believed that most mental and physical illness was a result of the person’s thinking.  Popularly known as the Coué method, it centered on a routine repetition of this particular expression according to a specified ritual -- preferably as much as twenty times a day, and especially at the beginning and at the end of each day.

My recommendation for you in using this is as follows:
  1. Relax - you can do this by taking 3 deep breaths, and imagining that you are releasing all negative charges/feelings/thoughts every time you breath out.
  2. Say it in your mind as many time as you can and connect with each word.
  3. Smile.
You can use this to powerfully set an intent in motion by doing the following:
  1. Relax - you can do this by taking 3 deep breaths, and imagining that you are releasing all negative charges/feelings/thoughts every time you breath out.
  2. Think about a desire or intention.
  3. With your intent, state it with this affirmation.
  4. Example:
    • I intend to stay healthy because "Everyday, in Every Way, I am getting Better and Better."
    • I intend to lose weight because "Everyday, in Every Way, I am getting Better and Better."
    • I intend to manifest my dream house because "Everyday, in Every Way, I am getting Better and Better."
    • I intend to quadruple my income and work only half as much hours as I working now because "Everyday, in Every Way, I am getting Better and Better."
  5. Say it in your mind as many time as you can and connect with each word.
  6. Smile.
I say this in my mind a lot during the day and everytime I think about my desires.
Happy manifesting~.

With love and blessing,
AnniePMaki
