Is Life Happening To You or Through You?
When you look at your life, how do you see it?
Do you see life happening TO you?
Or do you see life happening THROUGH you?
When life is happening to you, you are not controlling it.
You let your self think, do, say, and act based on beliefs that were handed on to you from people who were trained with the perspective of limitation and lack.
Can you imagine your life if you were born into this world and all you see, everyone you meet, and everyone you interact with, are experiences and people who believe they have the ability to create the life of their dreams, who believe we are limitless, we are full of potential, and their lives actually show it?
When you acquire a mindset of unlimited potential and infinite possibilities, you see your life as happening THROUGH you. You see your life as a product of your creation, as an expression of yourself. You take full responsibility of what is happening to you. You take experiences that are negative as FEEDBACK to let you know which areas of yourself/your life needs growth or change so you can keep trying and tweaking until you achieve your desired results.
If you are ready to take this concept seriously, and take a leap to growth, to tapping into your infinite self, then you have to start looking at what is going inside your head, what kinds of thoughts are you thinking and focusing on, and where your attention is spent.
Sacrifice is really this: giving up something to achieve something much greater/better.
If you want to have a better healthier body, you have to stop eating hamburgers all the time and sitting on the couch watching tv all day. You have to give up the burgers, spend less time watching tv, and go exercise until you get in shape. You have got to change the habit. You will need the discipline to form the "better" habit. So the sacrifice here, is getting rid of the old habit, to get into practicing the better habit, to get you to achieve a better healthier body.
